In May, 2018, after one year of preparations and market research, RE/MAX started its operations in Montenegro by opening its first franchise office - RE/MAX Capital. The name is very symbolic, as it can be related to the amazing business complex in which the office is situated – Capital Plaza, but it also symbolize the fact that our first office was opened in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica. During the same summer, two more offices were opened – RE/MAX Riviera in Budva, the most popular touristic destination in Montenegro, and RE/MAX Collection in Tivat, the town popular for one of the most prestigious real estate projects in this part of Europe, Port of Montenegro and for growing destination for up-market properties.
Kevin Buttigieg, CEO of RE/MAX Malta and founder of RE/MAX Montenegro recognized the beauty and potential of Montenegro and decided to bring one of the most recognizible real estate brands in the world with a mission to create the largest real estate network in the country by offering the highest standards of real estate services.
